Who Our Money & Donations Support:

There are 6 shelters in the Metro area in which we support: Churches United for the Homeless, the Dorothy Day House, the Gladys Ray Shelter, the New Life Center, the YWCA, & Youthworks. Additionally, there are 4 organizations in which we support: The Homeless & Hungry Outreach Fund, the FM Coalition for Homeless Persons, the Salvation Army, & Homeless Health Services.
The money raised through the Homeless & Hungry event will be distributed in a 90/10 split. 90% of all funds raised will go directly to the 6 shelters. 10% of all money raised will support the 4 organizations (2.5% each).

It is the goal of H&H to raise over $200,000 through this event. The breakdown of how the money will be distributed can be seen below.

Each shelter will receive an initial donation of $20,000 (if we raise more than $120,000). Thereafter the distribution of monies will be determined by the number of beds each facility has.
