"Ankatso Phase II"
(Letter from Pastor Rasamimanana)
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ in Fargo
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of
God and of Jesus Christ our Lord.
As related to our last message, we prepared some pictures for
you showing the progress of the work at Ankatso. The more our
congregation see this work program, the more they are improved
in faith.
The other building church of Ambohimangakely was undertaken by
the holy army group. Also, we had Bible Camp run by two young
American with the Sunday school children at Ankatso last July
(July 12th - July 16th). Some pictures have been attached to
this message.
Looking forward from hearing you soon. Grace and peace to all
of you in God our Father.

The Global Missions Committee is pleased to report on the ongoing relationship we have as a church with missionaries to Madagascar Scott and Heather Johnson.
Scott and Heather were sent to Madagascar in the fall of 2000. They live in the northwest part of the country in the port city of Mahorjanga. Scott works at Betela Lutheran Seminary and the Mahajanga Synod Evangelism Department. In the last year he was very active in helping develop a building project at the seminary to provide new student housing,
teacher offices, classrooms, and a bigger library. During Dec. to April (the rainy season) Scott teaches at the seminary. From May to Nov. he and the Evangelism Department travel to all eight districts in the synod to provide
training in evangelism.
Heather works with theologian women in the Mahajanga synod. She serves as a chaplain to the local Lutheran hospital and
regularly participates with the local Lutheran women's organizations
similar to WELCA. She is also busy with their young son Noah.
