First Lutheran Church, located on Broadway in Downtown Fargo, is a warm, inviting, community-connected, Christ-centered, discipleship-based congregation that has been serving the Fargo area for over 135 years. We are a member of the Eastern North Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Our Beliefs as ELCA Lutherans
The ELCA is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives. Worship Services
First Lutheran Church offers five convenient, diverse Sunday morning worship services. Holy Communion is served as part of our worship on the first Sunday of each month and on all other Sundays in our beautiful chapel following each of the five services. We also offer an adult-staffed nursery on Sunday mornings and for special events during the week.
