Mission
The mission of First Lutheran’s Children’s Ministry Program is to bring children and their families into a relationship with Jesus and to help them grow in their Christian faith.

Volunteer Ministry Title:
Sunday/Wednesday school Music Leader

Position Purpose
The Sunday school time set aside for worship and music helps children learn and express their faith in the love of God.

Ministry Description
1. Lead music and worship time, choosing songs that enhance the particular lesson
2. Participate in skit for the day or share scripture story
3. Welcome guests and facilitate offering and prayer during the worship time

Timeframe:
The commitment is for one year on a rotating basis. Preparation time can vary. The Sunday you are scheduled to lead you will be responsible for both the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday school hours.

Skills to Be Used/Developed
Ability to sing and play the piano or guitar. You will develop your skills in leading children in singing with happiness and excitement
