Foundation Gifts

During 2011 the First Lutheran Foundation was able to provide a total of $6,700 for mission activities, including Haiti Medical Mission, Ecuador Mission, and Mexico mission trips. Also, $19,350 was granted to First Lutheran Church to support the Fireside library update, the church soup ministry, enhancement of the church stewardship program, a sanctuary and Celebration Hall sound system upgrade, and computer and projection equipment to enhance First Lutheran’s educational ministry. The foundation has also grated $7,640 to meet requests from community organizations, including the Emergency Food Pantry, the YWCA, HERO and a local Youth Summit. These gifts, totaling $33,690, from the Foundation fund earnings have gone a long way to support the mission of First Lutheran Church.
