Senior's Ministries
The various ministries here at First Lutheran could not exist without the likes of men and women like these, who volunteer their time and talents in so many ways. Check out our weekly bulletin or call our church office at 235-7389 to see how the Lord can use your time and talents to further His kingdom.

Helping Hands
This group of men meet every Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. They start out with breakfast and then tackle different jobs or projects that need to be done throughout the church.  If you would like to be part of this ministry please contact Dalen Nettum at 235-7389.

First Club

Who are the members of First Club?  This is a group of people that meet in the afternoon the 3rd Thursday of each month for fellowship, dessert and a short program.  They meet at 2:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  While most of the members are seniors, all ages are welcome.

Wednesday Fellowship & Worship
First Lutheran Wednesday Fellowship meets every Wednesday of the year (barring holidays) and is open to EVERYONE! During the school year the organist Michael Olson graciously plays a half hour recital beginning at 12:45pm in the sanctuary.

At 1:30pm they move to the chapel for a devotional and hymn led by one of the Pastors. Birthdays and wedding anniversaries are noted and the honorees serenaded.

At around 2:15pm they move to the Celebration Hall for sandwiches and cake, provided by a different set of four women from the congregation each week. On the Wednesdays before Easter and Christmas, each circle of the ELCW furnishes 2 large salads, a cake and a worker making those days special.

There are usually 50-80 in attendance. The regulars look forward eagerly to this opportunity to visit with their friends. Offerings are given to congregational projects or missions, home and abroad.
