Parish Nursing Program
Parish Nursing is the cornerstone of Health Ministry at First Lutheran Church. Parish nurses minister to individuals and families to promote wellness of body, mind, and spirit. A melding of both nursing and ministry, our parish nursing program serves members and non-members through health education, advocacy, and referrals as well as providing resources that promote spiritual maturity.
Ruth Hanson, our parish nurse coordinator, is an RN with a masters degree in counseling from NDSU. Several other parish nurses work with Ruth to provide health education and congregational care.
Could you benefit from parish-nursing services? Contact Ruth Hanson at ruth.hanson@flcfargo.org or at 701-235-7389.
