Welcome to Confirmation!
Confirmation by definition is faith formation and is the opportunity for a child to affirm his or her baptism. Forming one’s faith is an ongoing journey throughout life. It is our hope that through the Confirmation journey, your child will be given the opportunity, tools, support, and inspiration needed to build his or her faith on a firm foundation. (Matthew 7:24-25)

We will experience God’s story in a whole new way! This year, the congregation will gather together around The Story, and that includes Confirmation students as well. Each week, we will focus on one chapter, which consists largely of scripture but fashioned in such a way that our journey through God’s book is seamless. The teen edition of The Story includes a Bible, video, and worksheets for study and discussion.
One thing our youth are seeking is a purpose for their lives. This is a great opportunity to learn about God’s upper story, that is God’s purpose for our lives, while also learning God’s lower story, how God’s story intersects with our daily lives and reveals his purpose for us. Your child will learn the greatest—and most important—story ever told.
