Rape/Sexual Abuse

Rape/sexual assault is any sexual act done to another without consent. It is a criminal act of violence that can be perpetrated by a stranger, a friend, or a family member. Victims of rape/sexual assault experience many feelings including fear, guilt, embarrassment, and anxiety. They may also believe they are at fault. Regardless of the situation, the victim is not at fault and the victim will need people to talk with about their feelings.
