“So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” -Romans 6:11
It can often feel like we are going through the motions. We live day to day, paycheck to paycheck, one event after another; like hamsters on a wheel, the carousel keeps turning. We are living, but are we alive?
Christ Jesus came so that we might have life and live it abundantly. The abundant life is not about simply surviving; it is about thriving. We thrive when we recognize that the Spirit of God is alive and living in us. When we surrender our life to the power and provisions of God, we will be more alive than we have ever been.
The book of Romans will lay the foundation for our time together this fall. Romans reminds us that the grace of God in Christ Jesus comes to awaken us to new life. Living in the Spirit of the Lord, we come Alive! Alive to worship. Alive to Impact. Alive to Connect.
