Suggested price: $10 (cash or card accepted). Popcorn will also be sold during the concert! \nJUNE 17\nBand – Brass Interference\nMission Partner – Heart n’ Soul Community Cafe \nMeal – Mississippi Beef Bowl; OR Pulled Pork Sandwiches\, Coleslaw\, Chips\, & Pickle; OR Beef & Bean Burrito\, Coleslaw\, Chips\, & Salsa; OR Bean & Cheese Burrito\, Coleslaw\, Chips\, & Salsa. Dessert: Cookies from the Humble Oven. SUMMARY:Slovakia Teaching Mission Experience
DESCRIPTION:October 10-18\, 2026 \nApplications are now closed. Please keep the team in your prayers as they prepare for this mission experience!  \nThis fall\, First Lutheran will resume our mission travel to Slovakia. Our mission partner in Martin\, Slovakia has invited us to send a teaching team to assist at their Center for Christian Education (CCE). Their request is for a team of individuals with teaching experience to participate in English classes to improve conversational skills with their teachers and students (Pre-K – High School). \nTeam members will be paired with their teachers to facilitate classes throughout the week. Pairings will be based on the background teaching experience of our team members (e.g.\, music\, art\, science\, math\, and/or PE). Individuals without formal teaching experience but who have a heart for working with youth are also invited to join the team! \nQuestions? Please contact Polly Kloster\, Director of Mission at pkloster@flcfargo.org.
