DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, July 16 – various shifts between 9 a.m. – 7:45 p.m.\nFriday\, July 17 – various shifts between 9 a.m. – 7:45 p.m.\nSaturday July 18 – various shifts between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.\nVolunteer as a Fargo Street Fair Parking Lot Attendant at First Lutheran Church (FLC)!  \nThis fundraising opportunity provided by FLC supports the Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) Fargo MobilePack. Proceeds go towards the 2027 grocery bill to fill the MannaPacks distributed to schools\, orphanages\, medical clinics\, and feeding programs in 70 countries around the world. The FLC church lot will serve as a pay lot for Fargo Street Fair attendees on July 16-18\, with all proceeds going toward this cause to reduce global hunger.  \nPlease follow this link to review available slots and sign up. Our mission partner in Martin\, Slovakia has invited us to send a teaching team to assist at their Center for Christian Education (CCE). Their request is for a team of individuals with teaching experience to participate in English classes to improve conversational skills with their teachers and students (Pre-K – High School). \nTeam members will be paired with their teachers to facilitate classes throughout the week. DESCRIPTION:Second and fourth Friday each month\nDifferent jobs between 9 – 11 a.m.\nFirst Lutheran is responding to an identified need to provide meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community. SUMMARY:MISSION SOUP SUNDAY VOLUNTEERS
DESCRIPTION:The third Sunday of each month | Various shifts from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\nEach month small groups in our congregation come together to make homemade soups. On the third Sunday\, all are invited to the Great Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to buy these soups and sit in community to connect with each other over a delicious\, warm meal. 100% of the proceeds go to our mission partners. \nWe need volunteers to help set up\, serve soup\, and/or clean up around Sunday worship times for these monthy meals.
