We often overlook the receiving part of our life with God.
But, it is God’s good desire to feed His followers. Jesus, although he was the Son of God, received from God the Father the full blessings of relationship. Jesus said in John 10, “I know the Father and the Father knows me.”
God is about the business of taking care of the souls of all who come to him. In this relationship, God has gifts for you, gifts to tend your soul,
and nurture your faith.
We hope the things you find here nurture you.

Good Samaritan Fund Grants
We live in a great city! The non-profits and the social service network in Fargo/Moorhead do a fantastic job. But, occasionally, there is a need for more. If you find yourself in one of those experiences, make an appointment to see one of our pastors today! We can't always help. But, at the very least, we would like to pray with you and become a part of your support network.

This is a very exciting time to be involved in world missions. Urbanization and globalization have opened doors to communicating the Gospel and sharing resources unlike any time in our history. Here at First Lutheran, we are excited about the opportunity to partner with those involved in advancing the Gospel and serving God’s people.

The First Lutheran Foundation is a vital component of the ministry of First Lutheran Church. It was established as a separate incorporated extension of the church to accept gifts to be held in an endowment fund. The contribution principal is invested in perpetuity. A gift to the Foundation is a gift that keeps on giving.
The purpose of the Foundation's funds is to make disbursements to expand the witness and mission of First Lutheran Church, and to support special missions of the Christian Church in the community, region, and world. The Foundation Board, in response to formal, written grant requests, determines annual disbursements from the endowment fund. If you'd like to make a request for funding the forms can be downloaded here.
