Volunteer: Micah’s Mission Meal Prep
Every fourth Monday, First Lutheran Church provides a warm goulash meal for the residents of Churches United’s Micah’s Mission shelter. We’re looking for volunteers to help prepare the meal the Sunday before, from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the First Lutheran kitchen!

Volunteer: Homeless Person’s Memorial Day
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our service to honor lives lost to homelessness. December 21 — the longest night of the year — is National Homeless Person’s Memorial Day, a time to remember those in our community who have died while experiencing homelessness.

First Lutheran is partnering with Micah’s Mission/Churches United for the Homeless to make a warm meal to be served to shelter guests on the fourth Monday of each month. Volunteers are needed to prepare the meal at First Lutheran Church and transport the meal to Micah’s Mission.
