Opportunities for Children and Adults
It’s all about relationships! That’s why we offer groups for all ages here at First Lutheran. Check out our offerings below to find out more information about our children and youth programs and about opportunities for adults! Whether you’re 3 or 99 (or somewhere in-between!) our hope is that you’ll find a group to get connected to so you can grow closer to God and to the people in our church community.
KIDS@FIRST
Welcome to our Christian education program for children ages 3 years old* – 4th grade! There are options for children to attend classes on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. or Wednesdays at 6 p.m. from September – May.
Your child will connect with adult leaders who are committed to sharing their faith in Jesus. We use an interactive Bible teaching curriculum, creative faith centered activities, and worship with high-energy music during our children’s church time! Classes are held in various classrooms in the basement at First Lutheran.

56ERs
Hello, 56ers! This is our Christian education program for students in 5th and 6th grade. This program takes place on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. from September – May.
Our worship focus is on various people in the Bible, and we use videos, games, and activities to learn more about God! Classes are held in the Adult Education Room (upper level).

CONFIRMATION
If you’re in the 7th or 8th grade, it’s time for Confirmation! Classes take place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. from September – May.
Our confirmation program helps youth explore ways to worship God and connect with others through lessons, games, activities, and service projects. Youth will find ways to lean on and share Jesus in their everyday lives!

YOUng life
Hey, high schoolers! If you’re in 9 – 12th grade and you’re looking for a safe, fun group that loves God, this is the group for you! Our Young Life group meets on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. from September – May.
We are Christians with a lot to give and a lot to learn. Among the daily life struggles, lean on your faith friends for support and love…and have a blast!

ADULT GROUPS
At First Lutheran we know that part of having a healthy faith life is being connected to a group where you are loved, feel that sense of belonging, and get to experience life together! That’s why we offer groups for adults too. No matter your age – we have a wide range of possibilities to join different groups and participate in different events! Some of our offerings include bible studies, women’s studies, men’s studies, a quilters group, outdoor adventure opportunities (like snowshoeing!), and so much more!
