This fall, First Lutheran will resume our mission travel to Slovakia. Our mission partner in Martin, Slovakia has invited us to send a teaching team to assist at their Center for Christian Education (CCE). Their request is for a team of individuals with teaching experience to participate in English classes to improve conversational skills with their teachers and students (Pre-K – High School).
Team members will be paired with their teachers to facilitate classes throughout the week. Pairings will be based on the background teaching experience of our team members (e.g., music, art, science, math, and/or PE). Individuals without formal teaching experience but who have a heart for working with youth are also invited to join the team!
