Fun, friendship, and growing in faith — 56ers is the place to be on Wednesday nights! This midweek gathering is designed for 5th and 6th graders, giving preteens a space to connect with others, have a blast, and discover how to live out God's love in everyday life. Confirmation is a meaningful step in a young person's faith journey — where questions are welcomed, relationships are built, and faith becomes their own. This program is designed for 7th and 8th graders, helping them explore what it means to follow Jesus and live out their faith with confidence and purpose.

First Lutheran is responding to an identified need to provide meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community. We seek to Live, Love, and Lead Like Jesus and be God's hands and feet. We pack 200+ healthy/hearty bag lunches to be distributed to homeless shelter sites in the Fargo-Moorhead community on the second and fourth Fridays of each month.

Each month small groups in our congregation come together to make homemade soups. On the third Sunday, all are invited to the Great Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to buy these soups and sit in community to connect with each other over a delicious, warm meal. 100% of the proceeds go to our mission partners.
We need volunteers to help set up, serve soup, and/or clean up around Sunday worship times for these monthly meals.
